Fail Mail Friday for 24 December 2010

Welcome to the our next installment of Fail Mail Friday. This is where we showcase a kill mail that we pirates would call a “failure”.

And now, a message from our friends at EON magazine:

You may over-indulge at Christmas and think that’s it for presents this year but we have another one for you in the not-too-distant future.

As you may or may not know, Issue #022 publishes on the 7th January – a sneak peak for you and your readers can be found here.
For all you subscribers, there is also an extra treat of the much-anticipated and long-awaited Minmatar Cruisers poster, so now you can complete your collection!

From all of us at EON, we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’s EVE.

And now, sit back, sip that eggnog and enjoy.  We have a lovely present from Esker Sheep this week in the second of three gems he sent my way. Here is the link to the kill mail and below is a copy of the fitting that you can use with EFT.

[Retribution, Gallsinzo’s Retribution]
Armor Kinetic Hardener II
Capacitor Power Relay II

10MN Afterburner I

Dual Light Pulse Laser I,Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Improved Cloaking Device II

[empty rig slot]

A cloak, as tempting as it can be for a possible scout in nullsec, well, there are better Amarr Tech II ships to use for this. The single gun is singularly insufficient to do anything useful here. I am at a bit of a loss on this one.

So, congratulations to Esker Sheep for our Fail Mail Friday submission. As being the selected for this week’s fail mail, Esker Sheep will receive a whopping 559, 000 isk for the Capacitor Power Relay II module that was fitted on this mail.

Have a fail mail that you would like to submit? You can send me an in game email to Ga’len with Fail Mail in the subject line. You can also contact me on Twitter @Galen_Druid or send me an old fashioned email to and again, use Fail Mail in the subject line.

Until next time, have fun and see you out there!
