Well done CCP

This has been covered on many of the EVE blogs in our community and honestly, I don’t have much to add in way of a response concerning the Incursion Expansion release time line, save one thing.

CCP, good call and thank you for taking the time to push back the release date.

In a day and age where companies rush to meet deadlines and release unfinished products, it’s refreshing to see a company finally take a stand and see that the quality consumers expect is what a company wants to deliver.

If only more companies would actually stop, listen to the feedback from testing and make the decision that releasing a quality product is more important than rushing an “unpolished turd” to market.

Honestly, this behavior on part of CCP is a 180 turn around from what we saw with the Dominion expansion.  They are taking the time to really polish this expansion based on feedback from the users and the CSM.  I must say, this is a step in the direction that I have been longing to see.  I am looking forward to seeing how the game play improves with the slew of bug fixes and enhancements that are slated to be released in the first stage.

Way to go CCP, keep up the good work!
